How to structure and add content to your CampusPress site
Structuring your site
Before you begin adding content to your site, you will need to decide how you would like to structure it. This will ensure that the site follows some sort of logic and is easy for its audience to navigate. You will need to consider whether you plan to add content to your site using posts or static pages. Static pages will be accessible from your site menu. You can help your audience find posts by tagging and categorising them. Categories can be used as menu items so that all posts that are similarly categorised can easily be accessed from the site menu.
This guide from CampusPress will help you learn more about the posts and pages and when it’s more appropriate to use either one: The difference between Posts and Pages.
By default, your homepage will be your posts page. If you would like to change this to a static page, please see this guide from CampusPress: Creating And Customizing Your Home Page.
Adding content to your site
CampusPress allows you to add a great variety of content so you can present your ideas and information in a range of different ways. The following guides from CampusPress take you through the various ways you can add content to your site.
