How to access CampusPress and edit a class site (Staff guide)

How can I access CampusPress?

Limited Pilot CampusPress is currently being trialled for a limited number of classes at LSE. Please contact eden.digital@lse.ac.uk if you are interested in using this platform.

LSE’s CampusPress sites are hosted at showcase.lse.ac.uk and can be accessed with your LSE email address and password. Class sites and student sites are created on demand by Eden Digital. To have your class and students added please contact eden.digital@lse.ac.uk.

Logging into CampusPress

  1. In a web browser, navigate to showcase.lse.ac.uk.

  2. Click Log In in the top left of the page

3. Click Use My School Username

4. If you are already signed into an LSE Office 365 application, such as Outlook, Word or OneNote, you will be automatically signed in. If you are not already signed into an LSE Office 365 application, you will need to sign in with your LSE email address and password. You will also need your Multi-Factor Authentication device close by to complete your sign in.

Accessing a CampusPress class site

Once you have logged in, you should see My Sites in the top left hand corner of the screen. Hover over this to see all the sites to which you have access.

Your class sites will be listed under My Class Blogs. These will be denoted by the presence of the word ‘Class’ in the site title. Student sites will have the individual student names in the title.

If you hover over the site you wish to access, you will be given the option to visit the Dashboard, create a New Post, Manage Comments or Visit Site.

You can edit the class site by choosing Dashboard.

How do I edit the class site?

Every CampusPress class has a ‘class site’, maintained by the instructor, to which all students have access. It is up to you to decide how you might choose to use that space. Some teachers choose to use the class site to publish assessment criteria and other information relevant to students' work. These general guidance pages will explain how to add content and customise the appearance of the class site.
