This guide will walk you through the steps to seamlessly collaborate and share content using Mentimeter. By following these instructions, you’ll be able to enhance your presentations with interactive features and real-time audience engagement, making it easier to work together and share insights effectively.

Table of Contents

1. Collaborate on presentations and folders

To invite someone to co-edit a presentation go to ‘Share’ and select the ‘Editors’ tab to input their name or email address. If they have an existing Mentimeter account you will then be able to select their account from the dropdown menu. Once you have selected everyone you wish to assign with editor permissions click on ‘Invite'. The same can also be done for 'Folders' containing multiple presentations to provide bulk access all at once.

To Keep In Mind:

  • Only users who are part of the LSE Workspace in Mentimeter can be added as an Editor to collaborate presentations and folders.

  • You will always remain as the ‘Owner’ of the presentation and cannot transfer ownership. To maintain their own separate version of your presentation other users will need to copy the content to their own Mentimeter account.

2. Sharing your Mentimeter slides

To share the slides for a presentation in Mentimeter click on the ‘Share’ button and select the ‘Slides’ tab. You can click on ‘copy link’ and share the presentation URL.

However, it is important to note that the link directs one to the live view of your presentation, do be careful not to delete or hide your results, or your audience will not be able to see them.

Make sure to keep in mind that sharing the presentation link is different from sharing the participation link.

3. Copying content to another Mentimeter account

If you would like to copy the content of a presentation into your account simply access the link to the slides which has been shared with you and select ‘Copy to your account’.
