Where Turnitin is enabled on Moodle Assignment Many Moodle assignments have Turnitin enabled. When this is the case, your submission will be run through Turnitin’s text matching software to generate a similarity report. If you edit your submission to Moodle and want to ensure that the later draft overwrites any earlier drafts on Turnitin, you need to ensure that the file name on the later draft differs from that on the earlier drafts. If the file name for each draft is the same, Turnitin will treat each draft as a different submission and give each one its own Turnitin ID number. |
