To invite someone to co-edit a presentation go to ‘Share’ and select the ‘Editors’ tab to input their name or email address. If they have an existing Mentimeter account you will then be able to select their account from the dropdown menu. Once you have selected everyone you wish to assign with editor permissions click on ‘Invite'. The same can also be done for 'Folders' containing multiple presentations to provide bulk access all at once.

Note

Note that dropdown menu may NOT always successfully load. If this is the case, simply input the full email address into the entry field and press the ‘Invite’ button straight away.

To Keep In Mind:

  • Only users who are part of the LSE Workspace in Mentimeter can be added as an Editor to collaborate presentations and folders.

  • You will always remain as the ‘Owner’ of the presentation and cannot transfer ownership. To maintain their own separate version of your presentation other users will need to copy the content to their own Mentimeter account.

If you would like to copy the content of a presentation into your account simply access the link to the slides which has been shared with you and select ‘Copy to your account’.

4. Using Groups in Mentimeter

The ‘Groups’ feature in Mentimeter allows for a selection of LSE Mentimeter account holders to be assigned membership within a dedicated group space. Those within the group are able to share templates and themes amongst each other which is a great way of sharing best practise!

Those who are already part of Group within the LSE Mentimeter workspace can learn how to share templates and themes with other group members.

If you would like to be added to an existing group or create a new group for your team, pleaser each out to eden.digital@lse.ac.uk with details of your request.
