Usually the course code and it is display in the navigationis used here as will be used in several places where the long course name is not appropriate, such as the Navigation block.

Course category

This is where your course is located, usually the Category is the named by Department.

Description

Course summary

This is the Add a short course description. As best practice, do not repeat the course name but instead give a brief summary of the contents of the course and its objectives. The course description helps students to find the course.
