  1. Log in to Moodle with your LSE Network Username and password.

  2. Navigate to your course, and click Turn editing on.

  3. Scroll to the section in which you want the link to your recordings to appear.

  4. Click Add an activity or resource.

  5. In the “Activity chooser”, select Echo360 Lecture Recordings and Add.

  6. Type a name for the activity, e.g. “Lecture recordings”.

  7. Click Save and display.

    Confirm that the “Currently linked section” matches the Moodle course that you are editing. If not or you wish to link to another course, please see https://lse.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/resumedraft.action?draftId=46006390.

    Click on Link a different section.

  8. You will see three drop-down menus. First select the Course (please note that you need to be an editor on the other Moodle course you wish to link recordings from) by starting to type the course code, then the Term and finally the Section. If you wish to link to last years recordings simply chose 2020/21 in term.

  9. After that, you have two options:

  • If you want to have one link in your course to a page listing all your recordings, select Link to the Section Home and click LINK CONTENT.

  • If you want to link to an individual recording, select Link to a classroom, choose the appropriate recording and click LINK CONTENT.

  1. At this point you can now choose the academic year that you to publish (in this case we are choosing to link recordings from 2019/20) Please contact eden.lecturerecording@lse.ac.uk if you do not see the course section you wish to publish, as you will need to be added as an ‘Instructor’ if this is the case.

    Now you can simply continue to fill out the ‘Section’ field to match the academic year:

  2. Hitting the ‘CONNECT’ at this point will create a recording container on the Moodle page where all recordings previously published to that year will reside. (See below for how to link single recordings)

  3. To publish a single recording from a previous academic year, follow the steps above, but select the option labelled ‘A lesson (a specific lesson item in the the section)’ - See below highlighted in red:

  4. Once the specific lecture has been located, simply click on the ‘CONNECT’ button. At this point an activity containing only that one lecture will be published to Moodle page:

You are finished. You can now navigate back to the main course page.
