Updates to Appearance in Moodle 4.5
Moodle 4.5 introduces a more streamlined interface designed to enhance usability and improve navigation, with a cleaner layout and refreshed design elements.
1. General improvements
Users should notice a less cluttered appearance to Moodle course pages.
Sections and their expand / collapse actions (collapsed topics) are cleanly presented
Icons are reduced in size and more accessible
Activities / resources occupy less space
2. Viewing sections
The course index menu expands or collapses all sections with a single click.
3. Text and media areas
The title field for text and media area resources are updated in general settings.
Text and media area titles now appear in the course index, functioning as anchor links for quick access.
