Recording downloads are enabled/disabled at the course section level, meaning and this has to can be done by Echo360 adminsomeone who is an instructor within Echo360 for that course. Recording Downloads will be enabled are disabled by default. To disable enable recording downloads, see the Echo 360 guide on enabling or disabling recording downloads for your section contact eden.lecturerecording@lse.ac.uka course.
If yourself, or a student is wanting to download a course recording(s), you would like to change this setting for your course, as mentioned you need to be sure you have instructor access to that particular course on Echo360 course. If you do not have access to the course required, you can . Please contact eden.lecturerecording@lse.ac.uk requesting they grant you this. Once you have access you can follow the steps below if you do not have the required access. Echo 360 instructors can download recording video files by following these steps:
Log into Moodle and navigate to your course.
Locate the lecture recording link and click on it.
N.B. If a lecture recording link has not been added to the Moodle page, you teachers can login to Echo360 and access the course from there directly.From the link on Moodle or Echo360, you should see a list of recordings such as the below
Once you see the list, navigate to the ‘Media Icon’ to the right of the recordings

Note: If the ‘Download Original’ option is not available then downloads are disabled for this course section. As a staff member you Students will need to contact eden.lecturerecording@lse.ac.uk to request downloads are enabled. As a student, you will need to contact your department to ascertain why downloads have been disabledthe relevant department regarding the download of lecture recordings.
