Using Turnitin at LSE

There is In May 2022, a new ‘LSE Policy on the use of Turnitinwhich was approved by the Education Committee. This defines the use of Turnitin for academic integrity and student development. It was agreed that this would at LSE, including its use as a student academic writing development tool. The policy aims to provide equity among the LSE student body and dissuade, as far as possible, the unauthorised use of Turnitin, both within and outside of LSE. Through this policy Departments have control and responsibility for developing their local policy for on the use of Turnitin in alignment with the school School-wide principles around the use of Turnitin.
