What is CampusPress?

Limited Pilot CampusPress is currently being trialled for a limited number of classes at LSE. Please contact eden.digital@lse.ac.uk if you are interested in using this platform.

The CampusPress platform at LSE allows students to create their own personal sites, portfolios, and blogs. It is based on the more widely known web publishing platform, WordPress but also contains class management functionality. Individual student sites are connected to a central class site run by the class teacher. CampusPress sites give students the opportunity to create, share, and curate multimedia materials for their modules.Class instructors can view their students' sites and can choose whether to allow students to interact with each other’s work. The guides below cover everything you need to set up and run CampusPress for you class. For further support, please contact eden.digital@lse.ac.uk.

Staff on CampusPress maintain the central class site and can access and assess student sites associated with that class. They can also enforce some decisions about what students can see or do on their sitesand choose whether to allow students to see and interact with each other’s work.
